A small set of frames from the past few weeks — not a series, not a story. Just things that asked to be photographed and were.

Eight frames. No throughline beyond a quiet eye and a willingness to stop walking.

Some weeks the camera comes along and barely opens. Other weeks it does this — looks at small, ordinary things and finds them holding still long enough to listen.

No agenda. No edit beyond keeping the ones that still felt true a week later.

That’s the whole thing. Not every set needs to be more than that.

Task

A short personal series shot over three weeks in a Brooklyn apartment. The aim was simple: notice the ordinary objects that hold light well, and let them be themselves.
